At Wiser we love Ultralight and Multi-functional gear, so it's no surprise we would apply those priorities to a novel Binocular Mount. Enter the BA-7 Sparrow!

NEVER LEFT BEHIND
Our barrel mount method eliminates the annoying "center post" which can easily be left in the hills when removing it to swap between binoculars and spotting scope, rifle or other optic on your tripod. With a low profile to easily fit in and out of your bino harness, everything you need to connect your binos to your tripod is always on your binos and never anywhere else!

A BALANCED EXPERIENCE
Balancing your optics on your tripod head is one of the simplest and most effective things you can do to ensure the best glassing possible. We applied that principle and use a unique offset rail which is set between the barrels of your binoculars, and not under one. Our novel Split Cynch strap also allows our adapter to mount around the bridge of many binoculars providing even more balance for those optics whose center of gravity lies in the bridge of the binocular.

TREKKING POLE COMPATIBLE
Whether you are really going ultralight or just need a super fast and stable glassing rest for a quick look at something, the trekking pole interface on the Sparrow bino adapter is the perfect solution for a minimalist support.

UNIVERSAL FIT
Our gear list is always evolving, and we're sure yours is too. For that reason we developed our supremely adjustable and strong Split Cynch strap and tensioning method to offer the widest range of binocular compatibility possible! Making a truly Universal Binocular adapter.

Awesome product

This was first time using the sparrow and it was great. The cutout in the bottom for a trekking pole point was the feature I used the most. Makes glassing while on the move much steadier. Definitely recommend

The bino clamp i've been looking for.

It's built like a tank, and it's priced well. It's solid and It is a way better design than the other clamp style mount from RRS.

Just needed to find a arco-swiss quick release clamp

I just bought the Zeiss SFL 10 x 50 binoculars and am very excited for this seasons deer hunt. I went to mount the straps around the center piece and immediately pulled the strap all the way out. Not a problem as there is an explanation for how to reinstall through a video on the website, but it doesn't start until the 7 or 8 minute mark though. Reinstalled the strap, as it is a piece of cake, and then maneuvered the strap into place and tightened the set screw while holding the strap tight. Make sure to have your tripod ready to check for levelness of the optics. YOU do not want to do this in the field! It will take you several attempts to level the optics. You will need to have your Arco-Swiss quick release clamp already mounted on your tripod. Do not make the mistake I did and order a Arca-Swiss Quick Release Plate. It is the clamp that is needed. I also did not know the size to get so I purchased the smallest one I could find on Amazon and it worked perfectly. The one I puchased through Amazon is this "Quick Release Clamp,QR Base,Camera Mounts Clamps for Arca-Swiss Standard Compatible with DJI Ronin S 2/3/3 pro/c2 Gimbal for Zhiyun Crane Series and Camera Tripod" cost was $21 and I just screwed it onto my 1/4"-20 base. Sparrow bino adapter

The concept is slick if you’re looking for extreme minimalism, versatility, and general security for the optic. The execution is excellent regarding build quality/ machining etc. That said, the overall concept has a draw back; it simply does not provide as stable of a connection as a rigid metallic post/ stud style adapter. This may be a non-issue for the majority of glassing. I just found tremor to be more noticeable with wind and while panning (particularly noticeable when digiscoping). For reference my optic used is a Meopta Meostar 15x56.
For the ounce counters, and guys who want to run an optic smoothly to and from a chest pack to the tripod, this will be a serious contender.

Superior

Pairs well with NL pure 10x42 and of course sitting on the ridge warden. Super smooth. Super solid.
